What Clients Are Saying

This Resturant was amazing! The wonderful owner greeted us so warmly and was so sweet and even gave us a tour of the entire place and it is beautiful! Such amazing hospitality! I really recommend everyone who has never tired Ethiopian food to come here, it is so good and so fresh and flavorful. I took my best friend who has never had African style food and she loved it too and the food is authentic and the place is beautifully decorated so worth the visit! I'll definitely be back again and again :)

So different, a "must" to just give it a try. There are no utensils, you eat by scooping up veggies and meat with a spongy flatbread. Kind of --I don't know-- sensual... The lamb and chicken are fall off the bone delicious. Rustic but fancy. Basic but dignified.

Excellent excellent service. The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and educate you on the menu. Could eat the vegetarian plate all day. Do yourself a favor and try the spiced cinnamon tea, it is quite refreshing and relaxing.

I'm so glad there's one in Ferndale! This place is amazing. Great atmosphere for dates, very chill and quieter than other restaurants. Nice place to have a conversation and slow dinner. Hands down the best vegan dining option in ferndale.

My husband and I decided to stop here and finally try Ethiopian food. Ezana was our waiter for the evening and he was amazing. There are only two dinner options here which made it easy to order( the vegetarian feast and the meat option feast). Ezana explained each dish to us and checked back with us several times to make sure we were enjoying our meal. As long as you are adventurous you should not leave hungry because the vegetable options are unlimited amounts. We really enjoyed our evening and will return soon.
